Elisabeth Carpenter is a professional Stuntwoman based in Los Angeles, CA. She was a very energetic child who played sports, swung on, jumped off, and climbed anything she could! Thankfully she started competitive gymnastics at age 7, which immediately became her passion! She continued through her first year in college when a shoulder surgery forced her to take a break and re-consider the direction of her passion. At age 13 her mother encouraged her to audition for an International Youth Circus, Circus Smirkus, and she performed and toured with them for 4 summers.

At age 19, Elisabeth decided to redirect her energy toward Cirque performing, making the move to Los Angeles and immediately starting to work. For the next 15 years she built a career as an aerialist, acrobat and contortionist, touring the United States, as well as Internationally, working with several renowned companies including Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Mechanics, Dream World Cirque, Eye of Newt Circus, and Quixotic. Some of the major clients she has performed for/with include Disney, SeaWorld, Tony Robbins, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Microsoft, PeopleSoft, Toyota, Porche, Bruno Mars, Plain White T's, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, the Pointer Sisters, and Outkast.

In 2002 Elisabeth was hired as one of the acrobatic elves in 'The Polar Express' because of her background as a Cirque acrobat. This was her first taste of working on a film set, and although she enjoyed it, she continued to perform for the next 9 years. In 2010 she decided that she was ready to change careers, and began to pursue stunts. Since then she has worked as a Stuntwoman in feature films, television, and commercials. Some of her highlights include doubling Shailene Woodley on 'Insurgent' and 'Allegiant', doubling Jamie Lee Curtis, co-starring as an Action Actor opposite one of India's biggest Tamil stars, Vijay, and choreographing the aerial portion of Lee Whittaker's highly-acclaimed dramatic short film 'Chasing Fireflies.'

In between jobs, Elisabeth continues to expand her skill set, training Tae Kwon Do with Master Simon Rhee, riding her motorcycles, delving into weapons, archery, horseback riding, water work, tactical training, and anything else that grabs her interest.

She has recently started a fashion-workout line, transfuZe, modeled after her own need for practical, but stylishly-fun activewear, and she sells skincare for Rodan + Fields. These side-businesses keep her busy, but work well around her full-time Stunt career.
